Redbird Industries was established in 1980, and has been in continuous operation ever since.  Our goal is to supply steam turbine blading in short runs, with short lead times.

The reliability of steam turbines is marvelous.  With dry steam and well lubricated thrust bearings, they will last forever; almost...  Unfortunately, when they do need repair, there is a problem that is as predictable as the turbine is reliable—finding replacement blading.  If the original manufacturer doesn’t have blades in stock, a long lead time will be required to setup a production line for a special run.

Unlike other companies, we don’t engage in high volume work that would force us to do things the OEM way—thereby becoming just another bucket shop with conventional equipment, working in a conventional manner.  We supply steam turbine blading in short runs, with short lead times exclusively.
